Each Solar Cycle lasts 479 days, perfectly synchronized in day length with Earth through the enduring magic of the ancient Portals, ensuring that both realms share identical clocks even as their years diverge.
Beyond this mortal rhythm lies a greater span - the sacred Divine Cycle - the measure of growth, completion, and rebirth that governs the long pulse of life and magic across the world.

The Fortnight of Renewal
The Fortnight of Renewal bridges the ending and the rebirth of each Solar Cycle. It is divided into two sacred halves:
The Fading
Seven days of reflection and closure. Fires are dimmed, debts forgiven, and the names of the lost spoken into the winds. Each night, a single candle is extinguished to mark the waning of the old suns. The sunset before the first Fading (31 Eirathen) is known as The Final Breath.
The Dawning
Seven days of rebirth and renewal. New fires are kindled from sacred embers; children are dedicated to the suns and moons. The first sunrise after the final Dawning (1 Primaris) is known as The Breath of Light.
The Great Renewal (Every 16th Cycle)
Once every sixteen Solar Cycles, an additional holy day is inserted between The Fading and The Dawning - the Day of Still Suns. On this day, both suns are said to pause in the heavens, standing side by side at the zenith for a single timeless breath. Priests and magi call it the Breath of Sixteen, when the world’s mana aligns with the Eternal Flame that sustains all life.
