Tigrin are a non-human race that have similarities to cat-people, but are separate from them in that they are not a modified human subspecies, but rather a humanoid cat subspecies.
They are matriarchal, but treat the males as equals in most other aspects.
Their Royal Family is known as ‘the Children of Bastet’, and their queen has multiple titles, including ‘Mother’ (reserved to Tigrin), ‘Bastet’ and ‘Pharaoh’.
