The Eternal Flame predates all worlds. It is the first spark kindled when the Divine Couple — the Mother (Gaia) and the Father (Cernunnos) — breathed existence into being. To the humans of Earth, however — who have turned from the Magical Truths and seek solace in science and technology — the closest equivalent is the Big Bang.
