Avalon (country)

The country of Avalon, encompassing both the Avalon lowlands and highlands, the latter known as Takama ga Hara, as well as the archipelago of Tír na nÓg. This is the official domain of the True Warlock, although, by common agreement, all [demi-]human wizards and witches in WyrdeHaven that derive their magic through the True Warlock are under his jurisdiction.

Takama ga Hara (region)

The highlands of Avalon, location of one of the two remaining portals linking to Earth. The portal in Takama ga Hara links to a portal behind a waterfall near Takamahiko-jinja Shrine in present day Nara prefecture at the foot of Mount Kongo. The region's old name is Katsuragi, and Mount Kongo was called Mount Takamagahara in ancient times.

Takama ga Hara is also the place of the True Warlock’s home.

Tír na nÓg (region)

Island archipelago off of the mainland of Avalon. Home to the Tuatha de Danann since before the portal at the Hill of Tara closed. Considered part of Avalon and the True Warlock’s domain, even though they have their own government, kings and high king.

When their Portal was still open, it linked to what is now known as the Hill of Tara, in the Boyne valley, Ireland.
